An Orlando Getaway

Recently, I got in touch with my cousin whom I haven’t seen in years. She’s now based in Orlando and is inviting me and my family to come and visit her. We could visit those Orlando attractions like the Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Studios Orlando and Sea World Orlando and our accommodation is free because we can stay at her house.

I am so excited! I mean this is my chance to see my cousin again after a long time (we used to be playmates when we were in grade school – there was no FB then so we haven’t kept in touch much after they moved) and I could see all those attractions mentioned at Orlandovacation.com without those hefty hotel fees!

I’m really looking forward to this Orlando getaway!

Where Couples Shop

Most couples find it hard to find a shop or store where they can shop together. My husband and I don’t.

We love going to Lowe’s or Home Depot. While I shop for items at the home decoration section, he’s shopping for all those knots, bolts, threaded rod and other items for his DIY projects.

I could spend hours looking (and window shopping) for those things that will make our home look more welcoming – and he can do the same for his hobby and DIY adventures.

A win-win shopping experience indeed!

I Love Watching The Voice!

Are you fond of watching music contests on the television?

My husband and I are hooked on watching The Voice Season 2 from the first night that it aired. We never missed a single episode. We have a bet on each team and honestly, we love them all. I’m not sure whether they have Furman Power Conditioners in the studio but I really love all those musical arrangements, too – and of course, the voices.

Kudos to The Voice coaches: Adam Levine, Ceelo Green, Blake Shelton and Christina Aguillera!

Do You Like Pinterest?

Pinterest: To join or not to join? That is the question.

I haven’t been in the loop lately. I wasn’t feeling well in the past few weeks because of my pregnancy (with my morning, afternoon and evening sickness!). When I found time to blog hop lately, I noticed that Pinterest is becoming more popular. Even triangle direct have an account with them.

I’m not sure if I’ll start joining Pinterest anytime soon. I’m still getting the hang of Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus. Venturing venture into another online networking site soon might not be a great idea, do you think?

Have you tried Pinterest? What can you say about it? Do you like it?

Discount DVDs, Anyone?

My little one is already going to school (pre-school) and as early as now, I’m beginning to count all those hours I have to spend doing nothing.

This reminds me to “revive” my former hobby of watching movies on dvds (watching them on movie houses can be expensive). Do you know where to buy discount dvds? I am also into collecting dvds but not sure about the cost of dvds these days. I still have to keep in mind our family budget, you know.
