When women are “down and out” and in difficult circumstances of whatever kind and severity that test their faith in God, it is enlightening to know that there are those who participate in speaking engagements for local women’s shelters and groups. Those speakers are happy to be invited in order to encourage women to again open their hearts completely and become even closer to God, reconnect with their faith if they have been lax in doing so, feel God’s love all around them, and let God help them through any difficult times of struggling, indecision, physical or mental dilemmas, or any other type of unhappiness that is occurring in their or their families’ lives.
Tea Parties
Christian speaking engagements in a comfortable and welcoming environment spread God’s message of love and understanding and bring women together to open up about their struggles and realize all the support that is available to them in solving their dilemmas.
Tea parties are a wonderful way to get women to relax as they sip a cup of tea and, at the same time, help their “sisters” to open up about their similar problems and learn from a speaker and the other guests how they can find answers to whatever the struggles may be.
Courageous Women Ministries
Courageous Women Ministries has speakers for women’s shelters to encourage women to increase their faith in God’s help for their problems and for them to continue supporting one another through any crisis. The Ministries also helps churches and women’s empowerment groups organize women’s functions to aid in this type of important and helpful mission.
The Ministries’ own Vickie Hoefer is popular as an inspiring Christian speaker who reminds guests of all ages and those with special needs of God’s and Jesus’ unconditional love and that that love is always there when sadness, frustration, disappointment, or anger enter into one’s life. Vickie emphasizes how important it is to never give up, to allow God to take over when sorely needed. She inspires by showing ways that His guidance can aid through any suffering and lead to a place of love, joy, contentment, support, understanding, friendship and happiness.
