This Saturday, my family and my sister-in-law’s family will be going to the lake to beat the scorching heat of the summer. We’ll be having a picnic, swim whole day and basically just spend time enjoying each other’s company.
The boys are planning to do some biking as well so we bought one of those softride bike rack where they can attach their bikes during the drive to the lake.
I’m so excited and very much looking forward to our weekend getaway!

I haven’t been to Canada but next year, our family and I will go to Alberta, Canada to attend my cousin’s wedding. We’re planning to stay there for a few weeks and we’re checking out the houses and properties at Calgary rentals as early as now to see whether there are properties that accept rent for about two to three weeks only.
I’m hoping that it will be easy to find a perfect “vacation home” among the available properties for rent there. Staying at a hotel is definitely not within our budget and a rental house is the most cost-efficient accommodation I can think of for our family right now. I hope we can find a fully furnished property that won’t cost us an arm and leg.
My cousin migrated to Canada a few years after graduating in college and it’s been sometime since we last met. I am so happy that she found a Canadian prince charming. They’ve been engaged for two years already and finally, they’ll be tying the knot. When she invited my family and me to her wedding, I was excited with the idea of attending the wedding as well as to the fact that I’ll be able to visit Canada for the first time.
